At Muse of My Own, we want you to love your jewelry. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, our Returns and Exchanges Policy makes it easy for you to resolve the issue. Please read the full guidelines below.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging, with all tags intact.
- Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation) must be provided.
- Custom or personalized items, gift cards, and final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange unless defective.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us by email at hello@museofmyown.com within the 14-day period.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, go to your customer account:
1) Click the profile icon in the store's menu, or go to the refund policy or a returns page, and then request a return.
2) Log in to your account:
- In the "Email" field, enter your email address, and then click "Continue".
- In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
- Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
3) Click "Request return" for the order that you want to submit the return for.
If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
4) Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
5) Click "Request return".
Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund will be issued to your original payment method—typically within 7 business days. If you prefer store credit instead, just let us know and we’ll be happy to arrange it.
Refunds
For eligible returns:

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect your returned item.

Store credit can be issued instead upon request.

Refunds are subject to a deduction of payment processing fees, which are non-refundable by our payment provider.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item sent).

Partial refunds may be granted if items show signs of wear, damage, or missing components.
If a refund is rejected, we will return the item to you at your expense.
Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct online exchanges.

If you would like a different item, please return your original order for a refund (minus non-refundable processing fees) and place a new order.

Defective or incorrect items may be replaced at no extra cost — contact us at hello@museofmyown.com with details and images.
Gift Returns
If your item was marked as a gift at purchase and shipped directly to you, you may receive store credit for the value of the return. Once we receive the item, a gift card will be issued.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund within the stated timeframe:
