Orders & Payments

  • Can I change or cancel my order?

    Once an order is placed, it moves quickly through our system—so we're unable to make changes or cancellations.

    You’re welcome to return your order once it arrives. See our Returns page for details.

  • How can I pay?

    We accept major payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay.

    Currently, we charge in euros (€) only. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

  • Is it safe to order from MUSE of My Own?

    Absolutely. Your payment is handled securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment gateway. We never store your credit card information, and your data is always protected.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Where do you ship?

    We ship worldwide! You'll see delivery options and estimated timeframes based on your country at checkout. You can also check our Shipping page for the most up-to-date info.

  • How much is shipping?

    Shipping costs vary by destination and method. Full pricing and timelines are listed on our Shipping page.

  • Are taxes and duties included?

    For many countries, yes—we offer fully landed costs with no extra fees on delivery.

    If this applies to your country, you'll see a message at checkout confirming that all duties and taxes are covered.

    If not, you’ll have the option to pay them upfront at checkout or on delivery.

  • Missed Deliveries & Return-to-Sender Orders

    If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, or refusal to accept the parcel, we’ll contact you once it arrives back at our studio. We’re happy to resend your order — we just ask that you cover a new shipping fee, along with any return-to-sender charges applied by the carrier.

    If you’d prefer a refund instead, please note:

    - The original shipping cost — even if it was partially or fully covered by us — will not be refunded.

    - Any return-to-sender fees charged by the carrier may also be deducted from your refund total.

    We offer subsidized or even free shipping to many regions because we want to keep things fair and accessible. But if your order is returned undelivered (due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, or not being collected in time), and you request a refund instead of reshipment, these costs will apply.

    We’ll always let you know the total amount before processing the refund. If you’d prefer to have your package resent instead, we’ll arrange that as soon as the required shipping and return fees are covered.

Returns & Refunds

  • Can I return my item?

    Yes! You have 30 days from delivery to notify us and start a return. Use our Returns portal to begin. Items must be unworn and in original condition.

  • Do you offer exchanges?

    We don’t currently offer exchanges.

    If you'd like a different item, we recommend returning your original and placing a new order.

  • When will I receive my refund?

    Refunds are typically processed within 14 working days (in some cases processing may take longer) of receiving your return. All refunds go to the original payment method.

    Please note: shipping costs are non-refundable.

Jewelry Care & Materials

  • Is MUSE of My Own jewelry solid gold?

    Yes—all our pieces are made from certified 9K solid gold, never plated or filled. That means no fading, no flaking, and no shortcuts.

  • Will it fade or tarnish?

    No. Solid gold doesn’t fade or tarnish. Our 9K gold may develop a natural patina over time (a soft sheen), but it can easily be polished back to full shine.

  • Is it safe for sensitive skin?

    Absolutely. Our gold is nickel-free, hypoallergenic, and made without harsh chemicals. All production takes place in Europe under strict safety and quality standards.

  • How do I care for my jewelry?

    We recommend storing pieces separately to avoid scratching, avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals, and cleaning gently with warm water and a soft cloth.

Warranty

  • Do you offer a warranty?

    Yes—we offer a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects like breakage.

    It does not cover lost items, wear and tear (like scratches or patina), or damage from improper care.

    Alterations or repairs by third parties may void the warranty.
